More Snow Indeed – In DC

It did indeed snow as predicted. It’s always amazing when the time and the amount of precipitation is exactly right. Doesn’t always happen. A couple weeks ago we had a snow alert, not just an alert – it was an orange alert, and nothing happened in our neck of the woods.

I happened to be in Washington DC when it started to snow. When I left home it was still dry. Having spent about one hour underground in the Metro it was a nice surprise to see snow fall after emerging from the underworld.

Snow Close to Home

When I came back home it was dark and the street lights illuminated the snow on the ground and made it twinkle.
