Asking For Flowers (Wednesday, August 12th, 2009)

We had a dinner guest who brought us these lovely flowers last Saturday and naturally they posed as models for me the next day. This time I used my Lensbaby for a change.
As an unrelated side note for the Linux peeps out there. I noticed that the latest stable version of digiKam lets you update the focus length and aperture in a JPG file, plus a bunch of other entries I wasn’t really interested at the moment. That’s convenient. For the non Linux peeps: digiKam is a really nice photo management program.
ooooh the pink background makes this a stunning shot of the sweet little white flowers… i love this
Huhu Sabine,
wie groß sind denn die Blätchen? Sehen hier winzig klein aus.
Interessanter Schärfeverlauf, schön, mal wieder ein Lensbaby-Foto.
Tschüssi
Rolf
Hallo Rolf, sie sind eher klein um nicht zu sagen winzig – winzig klein halt ;-)
Love..love..love the soft colors. Exquisitely beautiful detail.
i love the softness of the pinkish background and the nice white flowers
And you have good control of the lensbaby… one day this will be my turn to using this lens… Beautiful subject, composition, blablabla.
That pink does provide for a perfect background in this shot!
So delicate, so pretty. The edges of the flowers have wonderful clarity. I've had the worst time with flower edges and my macro lens.
