Hope everyone had a great 4th of July.

This year we went down to the beach to watch the fireworks since we didn’t know if we could see them from the balcony. Turned out we could have watched them from upstairs, but being on the beach was a different and more fun experience.

This photo was taken before the official firework started. People didn’t care and also had their own. The beach was quite populated and it was a lot of fun.

    25 Sekunden hast Du belichtet? Ist ja ganz schön lange, die Leute sind ja trotzdem relativ scharf. Eine schöne warmes Lichtstimmung hast Du eingefangen.

    Klasse, hätte bei 25 Sekunden auch mit mehr Unschärfe gerechnet. Aber vermutlich waren die schon alle zu müde um sich zubewegen ;-) Ach so… willkommen im Club.

    Ja, 25 Sekunden. Ich was auch erstaunt dass die Leute so still sassen. Hatte natuerlich ein Stativ.

    Hi FRida, that's the beauty with digital. You can just make photo after photo with different settings and see what works. And after a while you can see a pattern of things you do in your successful night shots. I found that to be very helpful.

    Hallo Sabine,
    ich habe mir gerade Deine aktuellen Galerie-Bilder angeschaut. Schon toll so ein Feuerwerk aufzunehmen, sollte ich vielleicht doch endlich auch mal versuchen.
    Auch die "Pride"-Bilder sind sehr gut gelungen.

    Hallo Gerd, ich war auch erstaunt, dass die Leute doch recht scharf abgebildet sind. Nach all den Hamburgern und Hot Dogs waren sie wohl zu schlapp ;-)
